We offer (up to) two weeks of in-person education at your facility for initial starts of service. Our comprehensive consultation includes evaluation of, education on, & resources for actual wound care in your facility. Our training helps guide treatment nurses & administratIve personnel to implement wound-related, evidence-based changes at a systemic level.
Additional training sessions of three days (maximum) available quarterly for groups of new hires, at facility’s request.

Wound Wise will reach out to treatment nurses and/or administrative staff on a monthly basis for the duration of our collaboration with your facility. During these conferences, our team will attempt
to streamline wound-related administrative processes, address questions & concerns with current in-house wounds, help cultivate productive wound management strategies for staff managing wounds, etc.
Our team of specialists can help your staff to provide advanced care for patient’s with complex wounds, decreasing the need for unnecessary hospitalizations as related to wounds. Wound Wise Nursing Education team members can demonstrate appropriate wound care techniques to your staff in real time.
From performing first aid on traumas & injuries, applying multi-layer compressive wraps, to maintaining skin grafts & wound vacs, we will educate your staff on managing each wound with confidence!
We believe that prevention is key to maintaining good health. Our preventative care education focuses on inservicing your staff on the prevention & aftercare of wounds, offloading, & so much more.
We offer telemedicine visits for your convenience. Your staff can connect with our clinical team any time for guidance on the management of wounds. Our Wound Wise providers promote collaboration with each patient’s healthcare team, taking precautions to not interfere with the plans of care ordered by other providers on the interdisciplinary team.

Inservices for facility staff on case-by-case basis as requested on topics such as appropriate, evidence-based wound care protocols for current in-house wounds, appropriate treatment types for different wound types, wound assessment skills, staff management of wounds, central supply ordering guidance in relation to cost-effective supply ordering, etc;
